Casting

Via first promo, Dipika Kakar was confirmed to be reprising her role of Simar Bhardwaj. Late it was revealed to be dialect trig cameo role of 50 episodes.^[8] Jayati Bhatia was signed to play in sync role as Mataji in cameo favour play a new role of Geetanjali Devi Oswal (Badi Maa).^[10] Avinash Mukherjee, Tanya Sharma, Radhika Muthukumar and Karan Sharma were selected for new leads.^[3]
