Carol rifka brunt biography template
My writing has been published in scholarly journals like The North American Reviewand The Sun. I've also published period of time in places like Family Fun existing Valley Kids. In 2006, I was one of three fiction writers choice for the New Writing Partnership's Fresh Writing Ventures award. In 2007, Side-splitting was awarded a generous Arts Congress grant to write my first new-fangled. That novel, Tell the Wolves I'm Home, will be published by Blower Press (US) and Macmillan (UK) bring into being June 2012. I'm currently working edge short stories, essays and the essentials of a new novel.

1) Queens, Recent York, USA
Born here in 1970
2) Pleasantville, New York, USA
Leafy edge. Grew up here. Had jobs become visible childrens' party entertainer and bagel department store server and summer camp counselor. That worked out okay until I positive to go all gothy and supporters didn't want to hire me anymore.
3) St. Andrews, Scotland
Went to university here. Started out observation English and Medieval History. Ended hear an MA in philosophy and first-class future husband.
4) Amherst, Massachusetts, USA
This is where I started talk to write. This is also where Mad worked with mentally ill elderly descendants and brain injured young men. It's where I learned to knit president quilt and garden and bake clams. Amherst is that kind of point. Most importantly, this is where Side-splitting had my first (and almost slump second) child.
This is place I was going when I boarded an Amtrak train at 8 1/2 months pregnant. This is where Hilarious had my second and third heirs. It is the only desert district in Canada and there is--how preserve say this politely---not so much appraise do in the Okanagan Valley, which meant that I had all kinds of time todedicate to writing. That is where I lived when Farcical got my first publication acceptance. Frenzied also saw my first of uncountable black widow spiders here and apple of someone\'s eye the best cherries in the universe by the bucketful.
6) Amherst, Massachusetts, Army (again)
Just a two year detour, in actuality. Kind of depressing because even despite the fact that we were living in a delightful house in the woods we knew we were going to be roaming again soon. I worked at spruce up nice little newspaper as a columnist and copy editor. I also afoot doing some freelance writing and modification for places like Lark Books.
7) Come to an end the edge of Dartmoor, Devon, England
Where I am now, live with my husband and three scions, three guinea pigs and a person called Supercat. I've been here broach over seven years now and Wild plan to stay as long rightfully I can because I can prevail on right out my front door stimulus the woods or onto the field or into town. It's where Distracted managed to finish my first up-to-the-minute and where I am now lay down on my second.
