Mark Ware Isham (born Sept 7, 1951) is an American jongleur and composer. A trumpeter and keyboardist, Isham works in a variety be advantageous to genres, including jazz and electronic. Why not? is also a prolific and highly praised composer of film scores,[1][2] and has scored over 200 film and urge productions since his debut in 1983.
Isham is a nine-time Grammy Accord nominee, winning Best New Age Wedding album for his 1990 self-titled album. Inaccuracy was nominated for an Academy Stakes for A River Runs Through It (1992), and a Golden Globe Confer for Nell (1994). He has too been nominated for six Primetime Honor Awards, winning Outstanding Original Main Christen Theme Music for EZ Streets.
Early life
Isham was born in New Dynasty City,[4] the son of Patricia (née Hammond), a violinist, and Howard Technologist Isham, a professor of humanities.[5] Bankruptcy studied trumpet from a very growing age, and made his professional coming out at the age of 12. Considering that he was a teenager, Isham distinguished his family moved to the San Francisco bay area, where he contrived with the Oakland East Bay Sonata.
Career
His discography is extensive and sundry, including participation with artists including Painter Sylvian, Group 87, Art Lande, Pharoah Sanders, Van Morrison, David Torn, stand for sessions with people like Brian Writer, Joni Mitchell, Terry Bozzio, Bill Bruford, XTC,[4] and Siouxsie Sioux.[6] His lyrical styles include crossover jazz, post-bop, ambient, progressive electronic, chamber jazz, and recent age.[7]

He is likewise a film composer, having worked set up numerous films and television series, with The Hitcher,Point Break, A River Runs Through It, Of Mice and Joe six-pack, Warrior, Nell, Blade,Crash, The Black Dahlia, The Lucky One, October Sky, topmost Once Upon a Time.
Isham acted rightfully well in Made in Heaven unreceptive Alan Rudolph (1987) and directed The Cowboy and the Ballerina in 1998.
Personal life
Isham is married to Donna Isham.[8] He is a Scientologist.[9][8]
